Jen Petterson is a senior management consultant specialising in work, health and safety. She has significant experience in WHS having previously served as Work, Health & Safety Manager for a number of large, high profile organisations

Jen has extensive experience providing consulting services in the development and implementation of safety management systems, auditing, inspections, workplace rehabilitation and industrial hygiene.

She believes building relationships with all levels of stakeholders and effective communication across a diverse range of workers and workplaces contributes to the successful outcomes achieved for her clients. Jen offers compliance, self insurance and systems auditing, strategy and management system development, coaching, general HSE and rehabilitation services.

PREVIOUS CONSULTING ASSIGNMENTS

Jen tailors health and safety management plans specifically to match the size, nature, hazard profile and culture of the client.
Jen has consulted to significant organisations in construction, heavy manufacturing, finance, oil and gas, healthcare, pharmaceutical, retail, local and federal government industries.

Additionally, she currently provides work, health & safety auditing services to the Local Government Association of Queensland reviewing the work, health & safety systems of local governments

PREVIOUS ROLES

Jen’s experience in the work, health & safety discipline has been extensive. She has served as Work, Health & Safety Manager in several businesses including James Hardie Building Products, Bank of Queensland and Suncorp. She has worked as a Principal Inspector for Work Health & Safety Queensland as well in the Queensland Government.

Jen holds a Bachelor in Applied Science Occupational Health and Safety, and a Graduate Diploma in Industrial Hygiene Science. She is a Certified ISO 45001 Occupational, Health & Safety Principal Auditor.
